Moving Notification Letter
How great would it be if moving meant that you just pack your things and relocate. Sadly, this is not to be. Moving comes with more than its own share of bureaucratic red tape that will most probably boggle your mind more than the actual move itself. This is why a moving guide is a helpful source to use.
Before movers come and load your belongings on the truck, a moving notification letter must be submitted to the relevant bureaucratic departments. Your bank should be on top of the list. You need to notify your bank that you will be relocating. Utilities are another important part of the moving notification requirement. Insurance companies must also be notified of your move. Most importantly the post office needs to be notified. We are well on our way within an electronic age but, the postal service is STILL a very important part of our “official lives” as it were.
Subscriptions and other association memberships are things we always tend to forget. We tend to put them on the back burner and then forget them entirely. Therefore, it is always a good idea to get them done while you are doing your A list notifications.
The best way to get about this is to use a standard official moving notification letter format, which includes details such as your bank details, your subscriber number etc. depending on whom you are writing to. These moving notification cards specify your new address and other contact details. Unspecified cards with your contact details can also be used to distribute to your family and friends. Getting these official moving notification letters/cards done ahead of time does come in handy and is a great benefit on the long run.
